The creativity and innovation of our brides never cease to amaze us. When we met bride-to-be Aseil for an initial consultation, she told us she had looked high and low, but wasn’t able to find someone to create the pieces the way she had imagined them. Aside from a folded wedding card that held the main insert, she also wanted to incorporate a laser-cut monogrammed coin of the couples’ names in Arabic – that was being made especially for them in Jordan! Her final suite was simple and elegant – our favorite piece was the chocolate brown folder that held the main invitation insert. The photographs won’t do it justice – the velvet-like texture of the paper is something only their lucky guests will be able to experience. The couple is tying the knot Christmas weekend at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, DC.

For the inspiration of this custom design, our groom shared a fond childhood memory of spending time with his grandmother in her garden with peacocks around in India and our bride’s favorite thing is growing tropical plants in their shared apartment. We brought both together and added texture with a bit of laser cut and foil in this design for Josh & Kachine’s multicultural wedding at a garden in Northern Cali.
